Reflection
LIttle Niagara has existed as a part of the university since it formed in 1917. It is where I would go often as a child to throw sticks into the river. My family would also release turtles we found in my grandparents' back yard back into the wild here. Now that I am older I still visit, often at the end of a bike ride to cool off and watch the sunset.
I often spend time alone thinking about my life on these rocks. The song is about being there and thinking, staring at the water and thinking. Much it is the bad decisions I've made and the lies I've told. This reminds me of "where are you going" as a piece also about adolescent thought.
